Farmhouses nestled on hillsides and in olive groves, often with breathtaking views to the sea and hidden, lesser-known little bays. Porto Sant’Elpidio sits on land where nature parks, protected areas, streams, caves, high-altitude trails dotting the forests of the Sibillini Mountains, pristine snow on ridges, wolf trails, flights of eagles and peregrine falcons alternate. Also here, among stone mills, shady villages and ancient castles, some of the most revolutionary poetic verses in international literature, myths that have bequeathed their evocative names to the entire territory have developed a footwear craftsmanship that has no equal in the world.
It is precisely for this very special natural and human combination and this balance that is so delicate and sincere that, since the nineteenth century, that the Marche region is one of the beating hearts of Italian farms and riding stables, one of the cradles of that immense rural heritage that we are finally learning to rediscover.
We want to do so with the pure and determined spirit of the people who, for centuries, have physically worked the land, adding all that we have learned during our individual and professional journey. We want to make this project – The Farmer Heritage – strongly anchored in Italy’s territorial roots but with an eye toward a new way – conscious, technological, realist, ecological, and sustainable – of making culture.
With great passion.
